I thought this year was finally the time to try a bit of the Zoella Beauty range and I was lucky enough to find exactly the thing I was looking for in Target (here in Australia). The body mist bottles were calling out to me the most, however I didn’t want to buy a full-size one without knowing if I’d like the scent, so I grabbed this set of minis which had her newest fragrance Snow’ella included. Following are my thoughts on each scent!
Out of all the fragrances in this set, this one is my favourite. It’s exactly the type of scent I imagined it to be, a pretty fruity/floral mix. I think it’s one of those scents that is hard not to like, the most likeable out of the four (in my opinion). I’ll happily be spritzing this one all year round (if I don’t use it all up in the next month!).
Top Notes: Strawberry and Grapefruit
Middle Notes: Violet, Jasmine and Gardenia
Base Notes: Vanilla and Musk
I’m not sure if I think this smells Christmas-y because I want it to, or because it actually does. It’s a very clean, fresh smell, almost like pine trees I guess, and I do like it a lot. It’s one I’d probably save for Christmas time though as it’s a very festive-specific scent. I’ve been going crazy trying to find a Christmas candle I like this year, testing so many, and I did end up buying one but I’m still not in love with it. I feel like the Snow’ella scent is kind of what I was looking for all along but just couldn’t find something like it.
Notes: Mint, Cranberry, Peony, Pink Pepper
Bake My Day
I reeeally want to like this one but I’m still undecided. I can definitely smell the notes listed below, but I just don’t think it’s sweet enough to be as good as I think it could be. When I spritzed it around, Daniel thought it smelt like walking into the pub which was a bit odd 🙂 I told him that it’s meant to be a baking scent but he doesn’t think it’s like that at all. I adore the packaging of this one, with the rose gold and gingerbread print. I just wish it smelt more like cookies!
Top Notes: Chocolate and Cinnamon
Middle Notes: Gingerbread
Base Notes: Vanilla
This one smells completely different to how I was imagining it when I first saw the Jelly and Gelato range come out. It’s fruity and tangy without the sweetness I was expecting. Not personally a favourite and I’d have to pass it onto someone else I think.
Notes: Black Elder, Pomegranate, Sweet Notes, Ozonic Notes
One mist which is not in the set that I’d still love to try is Sweet Inspirations, which has notes of macarons, honey and almond. Sounds so good!
They don’t seem to have much of the Zoella Beauty range in the online store for Target Australia, however you can definitely find more in-store.
Blissful Mistful is probably the safest option to try first. If you want something festive to spritz around at Christmas, Snow’ella is also a good one. The other two I’m not 100% on but everyone’s senses are different so you might love them 🙂
