We all have those days we struggle to get through, whether something has gone wrong or nothing is going right. Sometimes you just need a pick-me-up. Doing something for yourself that may be small but can lift your spirits and make a huge difference to your day. It’s okay to put yourself first, to focus on your health and happiness so that you are able to share that around to others.
Something that will always make me feel better on a down day is tea and biscuits (in particular, Subway cookies). I also love catching up on tv series and youtube videos that I’ve missed. Throughout December I’m completely obsessed with watching Vlogmas videos (if you’re new to Youtube, it’s when a Youtuber vlogs every day in the lead up to Christmas). Zoella’s are always the best, so full of constant laughter it’s hard not to laugh along with her. Another good one is Suzie from Hello October, who has lots of hauls, outings, sweet treats and hot drinks. Vlogmas vlogs are the best thing to look forward to every day.
If you’re always on the go, you might find music to be your escape, or you might enjoy doing something for yourself after work or on weekends. There are so many different little pick-me-ups you can try to turn a bad day around or just to sit back and enjoy life for a second.
